Hello! My name is Mallory Kairys (pronounced like “carries”). This will be my 10th year in the classroom, and my 5th year in AAPS. I have two bachelor’s degrees from UofM, in fine arts and elementary education. This year, I am starting a Master’s Program in teaching English language learners, through Western Michigan. While I joined the Dicken team last year in first grade, all my prior experience was in Kindergarten. I am excited about returning to Kindergarten this year, as that is where my passion lies. My husband and I are both Michigan natives and graduates of the University of Michigan - GO BLUE! We have two young daughters and a red heeler named Osa. I love spending time with my family!
