Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)

  • Students learn about manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation. Students develop their knowledge and skills of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing to produce products using a Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) mill. Students apply the knowledge and skills gained in this course
    as they collaborate to design, build, and program factory system models.

    This course uses problem-solving skills to explore creative designs and alternative solutions for problems facing our world today by using a design system approach.


    Current CIM students can use their username and password to visit MyPLTW for the CIM curriculum.

    School Supplies:

    Engineer's Notebook: A quad-ruled composition notebook.
    Pens (blue or black) as well as standard pencils.
